Localization

Localization is the process of making your app support other languages. With traditional app development, localizing your app takes a considerable amount of effort. Luckily, Glide makes this process automatic, so you don't have to worry about translating all the elements within your app.

Bear in mind that localization only applies to the interface. It means that only the app 'chrome' is automatically translated, and it doesn't affect the actual content or data of your app.

Examples

In the first example below, you can see that only the search bar placeholder text is translated, whilst the rest of the content remains the same.
